Q. Ummm – who are you?
A. I’m Dean Mackenzie, a copywriter specialising in sales and marketing material. If you want to get to know me a little better, my About page will help fill you in.
Q. And where are you?
A. I live, breathe and work in the wind-swept, “four seasons in one day” city of Melbourne, Australia. But if you’re not in that particular metropolis, that doesn’t mean you can’t hit me up for help. I write for clients all over Australia and the world, including the US and Europe.
Q. How can you help me?
A. Well, if you’re looking for sales copy that works, talk to me. A lot of clients hit me up for help with:
- Website copy
- Landing pages
- Sales pages
- Blog posts
If you need help with home renovation, I’m not much good, sorry – in fact, I should probably be kept away from all sharp tools.
Q. What do you charge?
A. This is exactly how much I charge.
Just kidding (or wishing).
No project is identical to another, so costs will always differ. I’ll provide you with a detailed quote up-front that says exactly what the costs for your project will be.
Q. What’s included in your costs?
A. When you work with me, you get the following:
- an interview or discussion with you to establish project goals, risks and other details
- appropriate research into your industry, target market and competition
- first drafts of all your copy, with two rounds of revisions to fine-tune and sharpen up
- for website projects, keyword research and SEO elements (such as title tags and SEO snippets)
Before I do any work, I’ll provide a full quote that details all of the inclusions of the project, associated costs and timeframes.
Q. Can you match prices?
A. Short answer: no.
Long answer: no. Copywriting is not a commodity. I’m committed to delivering the very best for my clients, and competing on price like that means cutting corners – and not delivering the very best.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. Yes, I ask for a 50% deposit before any work on your project starts. The balance required will be payable a week after you’ve received the first draft.
Q. I like what I see! What now?
If you want to talk turkey on dealing with your marketing or copywriting challenges, then simply get in touch with me today.
